The Municipality is proud to provide opportunities for community members and organizations to promote awareness and support for important initiatives and campaigns.
Saline Creek Pedestrian Bridge
Lighting the Saline Creek Pedestrian Bridge celebrates and helps build community spirit in our region. With a unique steel arch supporting the suspended concrete deck, the bridge provides a key crossing over the Hangingstone River. The bridge is located on Saline Creek Drive near the intersection with Prairie Loop Boulevard.
To reflect the diversity of people that call Fort McMurray Wood Buffalo home, and our connection to the global community, the Municipality proactively lights the Saline Creek Bridge recognizing major events and cultural celebrations.
