The Municipality has bulk water fill stations available for commercial users throughout the region. Bulk water is not available for residential or private use. To access bulk water, you need to Set up a General Trade Account.
The following information will be requested in the application process:
- An estimate of how many cubes of water you expect to use per month.
- Pictures of each truck showing the water tank, company logo & unit number, license plate, and vehicle registration.
- A deposit on your account may be required. The amount of this deposit varies and depends on your estimated monthly usage.
Potable water (drinking water) and non-potable water fill stations are available throughout the region.
- Potable stations are located in Fort McMurray, Anzac, Conklin, and Janvier.
- Non-potable water is located in Fort McMurray.
For Potable Water Haulers, Alberta Health Services needs to approve your tank. Contact Alberta Environmental Health Services at 1 (833) 476 4743 to get the tank assessed. The approval expires annually on September 30 and your re-inspection can be forwarded to accounts.receivable@rmwb.ca.
