Update: Council approved amendments to the user fees, rates and charges bylaw (Bylaw 24.026) at its meeting on March 25, 2025. Water and wastewater utility rate changes for Fort McKay will take effect on July 1 instead of April 1, 2025.
Historically, Fort McKay properties have not been billed for water, sewer, or garbage collection.

Residents have the following options to open utility accounts:

Property Ownership Requirement: Utility accounts will only be opened for property owners. Renters are not eligible to open utility accounts.
To avoid billing delays, applications are due by April 4, 2025. The first billing cycle will begin mid-April for an effective date of April 1, 2025.
