A new sensory garden is ready for visitors at Wood Buffalo Park, at the corner of Williams Dr. and Wilson Dr.

The sensory garden is designed to engage and stimulate the five senses - touch, taste, sight, smell and hearing. This type of garden provides many benefits and an interactive learning environment within nature.

The sensory garden appeals to our region's diverse population and is accessible for all ages and abilities. It can be particularly beneficial for children and adults with autism, dementia and other sensory processing disorders, allowing users to explore their senses in a safe and comfortable space.

It is also a great space for everyone to learn about horticulture and nature. We encourage all residents and visitors to come to Wood Buffalo Park to touch, smell, taste and interact with the plants.‎
