A public Hearing is scheduled for July 14, regarding redesignating a portion of land described as Lot 26, Block 3, Plan 982 5392 (the “Subject Property”), known as 125 McDermont Avenue, located in Fort Chipewyan, from PS-Public Service District to HC – Hamlet Commercial District and to include a site-specific LUB amendment to add the use of “Commercial Guest Accommodation” as a discretionary use in the HC – Hamlet Commercial District.
At the June 23rd Council Meeting, Council of the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo deferred the Public Hearing to Tuesday, July 14th, 2026, at 5:00 p.m., regarding a proposed change is to remove the date restriction on the campground use as described in the DC-C4 – Direct Control Highway Commercial District.

A Special Council Meeting is scheduled for 5 p.m. on June 16, 2026, in Jubilee Centre Council Chamber, to consider the Draper Area Structure Plan and other items specific to Draper.
