History & Location
Located south of Fort McMurray and neighbouring Anzac, Gregoire Lake Estates is a peaceful residential hamlet on the edge of its namesake lake. Once a quiet cottage area, it’s now home to many year-round residents who enjoy the calm and beauty of lakeside living.
Population & Culture
This small, tight-knit community includes Indigenous and non-Indigenous families – 217 members (2021 census). Residents often engage in seasonal traditions like fishing, harvesting, and storytelling.

With lake access just steps away, outdoor living defines this community. Residents enjoy swimming, kayaking, ice fishing, and starry night skies — all while staying close to amenities in nearby Anzac and Fort McMurray.
