What is MACOY?
MACOY stands for Mayor's Advisory Council on Youth. It was founded in 1993 to serve as an advisory body responsible for advising Council on services, programs and issues as they relate to youth in the region. MACOY provides a voice to Mayor and Councillors on issues concerning youth in the community.

Membership is open to all youth from grades 9-12 residing in Fort McMurray Wood Buffalo. MACOY alumni are welcome to participate in a mentorship capacity.

Membership |
Membership is open to all youth in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo residing in the region. MACOY alumni are welcome to participate in a mentorship capacity. |
