Election Results

Unofficial election results will be posted here when available. The Municipality does not expect unofficial results to be available on election night. Regular updates on ballot-counting progress will be published on RMWB social media accounts for as long as the count requires. Counting ballots will take longer than previous elections, as ballots will now be hand-counted because of changes to election laws made by the Government of Alberta. Every municipality in Alberta – including the RMWB – will be hand-counting ballots for the Oct. 20 election instead of using vote tabulators. Previously, unofficial election results could be known by election night by using vote tabulators.
