A Public Hearing is expected to be scheduled for July 14, 2026, regarding redesignating a portion of land described as Lot 26, Block 3, Plan 982 5392 (the “Subject Property”), known as 125 McDermont Avenue, located in Fort Chipewyan, from PS-Public Service District to HC – Hamlet Commercial District and to include a site-specific LUB amendment to add the use of “Commercial Guest Accommodation” as a discretionary use in the HC – Hamlet Commercial District.

A Special Council Meeting is scheduled for 5 p.m. on June 16, 2026, in Jubilee Centre Council Chamber, to consider the Draper Area Structure Plan and other items specific to Draper. 

A Public Hearing is scheduled for June 16, 2026 regarding a proposal to adopt an Area Structure Plan for the neighbourhood of Draper. Area Structure Plans (ASP) provide a framework to guide future development of an area by describing the sequence of development, land uses, population density, and the general location of transportation routes and public utilities. 

A Public Hearing is scheduled for June 9, 2026, regarding current zoning within the IM - Medium Industrial District. Proposes a text amendment to section 6.19 of Land Use bylaw (LUB) No. 26/001 to add "Drive Through" as a discretionary use within the IM - Medium Industrial District.
