The Insider Guidelines

The Insider will be distributed at 10 a.m. every Monday morning. 

Submissions will be accepted until 12 p.m. on the preceding Thursday. 

Articles will be a maximum of 200 words in length and featured in The Insider for a maximum of two weeksOccasionally, it may not be possible to fit all submitted content into The Insider. If this is the case, Strategic Communications will determine how content can be refined or included in future editions.  

All employees are welcome to share photos, story ideas and feedback using the submission form at rmwb.ca/staff.  

It is at the discretion of Strategic Communications to include employee submissions.

CUPE Bargaining Update

The bargaining committees for the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo and CUPE Local 1505 met on July 30 and 31, 2025. There are approximately 900 employees in the CUPE Local 1505 bargaining unit, who work across a wide range of departments.
