Anzac Lagoon Expansion-Phase 2 Construction
Introduction:
The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo is upgrading and expanding the existing wastewater lagoon in Anzac.

Project Details:
Construction of Phase 2 will include desludging and expanding the existing wastewater treatment cells. This will include mass earthworks to construct perimeter berms, underground sub-drains and interconnection piping. Also, included will be establishment of the truck dump area, perimeter access roads on berms, landscaping and perimeter fencing.
Community Benefit:
Increase sewage storage capacities and enhance wastewater treatment in Anzac.
Construction Impacts:
Access to the Phase 1 lagoon will remain open during construction. No construction impacts.
