The TaigaNova Eco-Industrial Park Flood Mitigation – North Berm project consists of the construction of earthen berms to raise the existing flood protection elevation around TaigaNova Eco-Industrial Park and a portion of the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). It also establishes river water backflow prevention measures at the existing TaigaNova storm pond outfall and WWTP effluent discharge outfall by means of mechanical slide gates.
Construction in Fort McKay starting April 15, 2026
Burbank Directional Drilling has been contracted by Rogers Communications Inc. to install new underground services in front of several properties in Thickwood, Fort McMurray.
