Beaton Place Infrastructure Rehabilitation – Phase 1A

Introduction:

Construction on Phase 1A of the Beaton Place rehabilitation project is scheduled to begin July 13, 2026, and is expected to continue until July 27, 2026.This notice applies to residents between 229 and 301 Beaton Place.

What work will be completed during Phase 1A?

 During this phase, the contractor will:

  • Remove the existing sidewalks
  • Construct new 1.5 m wide sidewalks shifted toward the roadway
  • Restore portions of driveways where required to improve drainage and repair areas impacted by sidewalk construction

Please note: Driveway restoration will vary from property to property. The amount of driveway replacement has been designed based on site surveys and drainage requirements and will therefore not be the same for every home. 

What to Expect?

Driveway Access

Once new concrete has been placed for sidewalks or driveways:

·         You will not be able to park in your driveway for approximately seven (7) days.

·         Please do not walk or drive on the new concrete during this time.

Residents should park on the street while the concrete cures. Municipal Enforcement (Bylaw Services) has been notified and parking tickets will not be issued for on-street parking related to this construction.
