Construction of the Hinge Bay Outdoor Rink Pickleball Courts

Introduction: 

Construction will begin on the Hinge Bay Outdoor Rink to create four pickleball courts. Work includes installing an acrylic surface over the entire rink, painting court lines and marking playing zones to support safe, accessible play.

Project details/background:  

The Hinge Bay Outdoor Rink will be converted into four pickleball courts for use during the summer, while continuing to serve as an ice rink in the winter. 

Community Benefit:

Additional recreational opportunities within Fort McMurray to accommodate growing community needs for pickleball courts.
