The existing water line servicing the south portion of the Community will be replaced with a larger main to improve service.
Construction Impacts:
☒Temporary Water/Sewer
☒Road or Lane Closure
Special Instructions for Residents:
Temporary water:
Temporary water bypass will be set up from May 1, 2026- August 15, 2026
The contractor will be upgrading the existing watermain along Fort McKay Road. To complete this work it will be required to shut down the water main for the duration of construction. Temporary water will be provided to ensure safe drinking water remains available to residents and businesses.
The contractor’s plumber, Ram Mechanical, will be required to enter each residence and business. They will be checking the existing water service to ensure there are no leaks. Modifications may be required to connect the temporary water.
Once temporary water has been connected it is recommended to run a tap for approximately 5 minutes. This will allow water to flush through the system to the property and ensure no interruption in service.
Road or lane closure
Fort McKay Rd will have single lane traffic during construction hours. There will be only occasional construction delays on Range Road 1109.
