Holiday spirit on the menu: Free luncheon for Elders and seniors on Dec.4

Registration opens November 17, online at rmwb.ca/luncheon or by calling Pulse

The holiday season is almost here and Mayor and Councillors are excited to once again host Elders and community members ages 65 and older at the annual Council’s Holiday Luncheon.

Join us on Dec.4 at the SMS Equipment Place, MacDonald Island Park for an afternoon filled with good food and festive cheer. This much-loved event celebrates the lasting contributions of seniors and Elders to Fort McMurray Wood Buffalo.

“This is truly one of the best events of the year because it allows us to gather and express our appreciation to those around us that helped build this region,” says Mayor Sandy Bowman. “We look forward to seeing everyone and we again thank all the people responsible for making the Holiday Luncheon an important and special experience.”
