Road Surface and Alleyways Improvements: Wood Buffalo Way, Eymundson Road and Albion Drive
Introduction:
The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo is preparing to complete road resurfacing and improvements to the existing roadways in your neighborhood. You will see crew and construction activities taking place starting at the beginning of June 2025.

Project Details:
Project scope will involve the removal and subsequent replacement of existing asphalt pavement, the removal and replacement of existing softscape, and improvements to the existing stormwater systems, such as catch basins, culverts, and ditches. Additionally, the project will incorporate restorative landscaping, which will improve the drainage and revitalize the affected areas.
The contractor will ensure access in and out to the properties is maintained and available to all residents throughout construction.
Community Benefit:
As the various phases of construction are completed, affected portions of Wood Buffalo Way will be restored and improved. At the completion of the project, the impacted portion(s) of the road will see a substantial improvement, aligning with the Municipality’s commitment to infrastructure improvements.
