Saprae Creek Mailbox/Intersection Beautification Project: Mailbox Relocation
Introduction:
The Saprae Creek Mailbox/Intersection Beautification Project will resume this spring, with construction expected to begin as early as May 19. Work will continue through the summer to complete the remaining improvements.

Project details/background:
The project will complete beautification of the existing mailbox area, including drainage improvements, construction of a new cover structure, and upgrades to surrounding surfaces. Additional work will include new signage, replacement of fencing, installation of bollards, and landscaping and hardscaping at the mailbox access area. Mail services are not expected to be disrupted.
Community Benefit:
As construction phases are completed, affected sections of Saprae Creek/Spruce Valley Drive will be restored and improved. Once the project is finished, the roadway will be significantly enhanced, supporting the Municipality’s commitment to infrastructure renewal and area beautification.
Construction Impacts:
· Minor construction activities may occur at the permanent mailbox location. Public access to the mailboxes will be always maintained.
· Occasional short-term lane closures or traffic control measures may be required to safely accommodate construction activities.
· Volker Stevin will comply with all applicable noise and community standards bylaws.
