Introduction

The Municipality is preparing to complete deep utility rehabilitations and upgrades in your neighbourhood. You’ll see crews and construction activity beginning October 13th, 2025.

Project Details/Background:

Construction will involve the installation of a pressure reducing valve and valve chamber within the green space behind Bell Crescent adjacent to Highway 63. Excavation and trenching will be required to complete the work. The contractor will be accessing the area via the Highway 63 off ramp/Bell Crescent. Flaggers and signage will be in place to maintain safe access and control traffic. The green space will be closed until the crew completes the work and rehabilitates the area. 

Community Benefit:

This will improve the water flow to communities south of the Urban Service Area which includes the Saline Creek Plateau, Anzac, Gregoire Lake Estates, Saprae Creek Estates, and the airport. The facility also creates opportunities for a redundant (back-up) supply of water in the event of an emergency.
