Saunderson Pressure Reducing Station- Partial road and sidewalk closure

Introduction:

The Municipality is preparing to complete deep utility rehabilitations and upgrades in your neighbourhood. Crews and construction activity is actively ongoing.

Project Details/Background:

As part of the Saunderson Pressure Reducing Station project, contractors will be conducting operations in the highlighted area on Main Street. Contractors will require a partial road and sidewalk closure and restrictions on street parking in this section. This restriction will remain in place until the work is completed.

Community Benefit:

This will improve the water flow to communities south of the Urban Service Area which includes the Saline Creek Plateau, Anzac, Gregoire Lake Estates, Saprae Creek Estates, and the Fort McMurray Airport. The facility also creates opportunities for a redundant (back-up) supply of water in the event of an emergency.
