SDAB 2025-005 Notification of Appeal Hearing

TAKE NOTICE, that the Subdivision and Development Appeal Board for the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo has received an appeal against a Development Officer’s Refusal of Development Permit No. 2025-DP-00129, an application for a Billboard Sign – Digital Copy, at the property known as Lot 3A, Block 1, Plan 0427034, being 560 Memorial Drive, Fort McMurray, Alberta.

In accordance with section 686 of the Municipal Government Act, R. S. A 2000, c. M-26, an Appeal Hearing must be held by the Subdivision and Development Appeal Board upon receipt of an Appeal. 

The appeal hearing is set as follows:

In accordance with section 629 of the Municipal Government Act, the Subdivision and Development Appeal Board may, while carrying out its powers, duties and responsibilities, accept any oral or written evidence. Affected parties and adjacent property owners wishing to make an oral presentation, wishing to submit evidence, or wishing to register as an observer, must submit their request to sdab@rmwb.ca on or 12:00 p.m. (noon), Wednesday, May 6, 2026.  It is at the discretion of the Board to accept any evidence filed beyond this date.

It is the responsibility of the parties to ensure that the evidence has been received.  Affected parties/adjacent property owners will be given five (5) minutes of time to present their evidence.
