Spring cleaning season is here – help make our trails, parks, and green spaces sparkle!
Say goodbye to trash and debris from the winter, and hello to a cleaner, greener neighbourhood by volunteering for the Community Cleanup and Adopt-a-Trail programs
Volunteer registration is open, and you can sign up as an individual or a group to lead Community Cleanup events or Adopt-A-Trail / Roadway.
What’s the difference between Community Cleanup and Adopt-A-Trail?
With Adopt-A-Trail, you'll have the opportunity to personally improve a section of trail or greenspace, ranging from half a kilometer to three kilometers in length. You'll commit to four cleanup sessions between April and September. Do this for two consecutive years, and as a thank you, you'll receive recognition signage in the area you've adopted!
Community Cleanup program allows you to beautify your neighborhood, playground, park, or trail. Sign up for one cleanup session or as many as you’d like. It's a fantastic way to make a difference without a long-term commitment, and we provide all the cleanup kits, including gloves, picker sticks, and garbage bags, when you register!
Register online today!
Registration is easy, and can be done online until September. Businesses, organizations and community groups are encouraged to show their community spirit by hosting a Community Cleanup of their area or adopting a trail. Online registration is available for rural communities, and can also be done at local municipal offices.
