Stuff-A-Bus celebrates 10 years of supporting local families this holiday season

Register your organization as a drop-off location for donations to Santas Anonymous

A community tradition marks a milestone this year as the Stuff-A-Bus toy drive celebrates its tenth anniversary. RMWB Transit is again partnering with Santas Anonymous, a student-led program at Father Mercredi High School to gather toys and donations for local children and families.

A decade of giving you can be part of

Since its first year, Stuff-A-Bus has grown into a community-wide effort that brings residents, students, businesses and organizations together. Each December, donations are collected through the campaign and are delivered directly to Santas Anonymous, where volunteers wrap and distribute gifts to families in need.

This year, the Santas Anonymous team is collecting toys for ages 2-12.

Residents are encouraged to participate by:

  • Dropping off new, unwrapped toys, gift cards to local businesses or monetary contributions at participating locations. Drop-off locations will be posted on rmwb.ca/stuffabus as organizations register.

Register your business or group to get involved

Businesses, schools, community groups and industry partners are invited to collect donations from now until the pick-up day on Friday, Dec. 12.

To register:

  • Contact RMWB transit Customer Service at transit@rmwb.ca or 780-743-7931 by Wednesday, Dec. 10.
  • Set up a bin or designated toy collection area with a Santas Anonymous Stuff-A-Bus poster and encourage staff and patrons to donate.
  • On Friday, Dec. 12, a Transit bus will pick up donations and deliver them to Santas Anonymous.

Follow along on Stuffing Day

On Dec. 12, students from Santas Anonymous, the RMWB transit team, Rogers Media (Country 93.3 and Rock 97.9) and some festive visitors will make their rounds to collect all the donations. Follow along on RMWB social media channels for highlights throughout the day.
