Election results expected to be announced Tuesday, Oct. 21

The Municipality does not expect results to be available on election night, due to recent changes to provincial election laws requiring ballots to be hand-counted. Ongoing vote tallies will also not be available.

The unofficial election results are anticipated to be released on Tuesday, Oct. 21.

What to expect at the polls

Make sure you bring proper identification when you go to cast your vote. Your ID needs to have your name and current address – such as a driver’s licence, insurance card, credit card statement, or a government cheque.

You will receive multiple ballots to cast your votes – separate ballots for Mayor, Councillors and school trustees (Ward 1 & 3). Only one ballot was used in the previous municipal election.
