Winter Maintenance Subzones 1 and 2 active Dec. 15-19
Sign up to receive weekly Winter Maintenance Zone (WMZ) email updates
Subzones 1 and 2 will be active from Dec. 15–19 for snow removal operations, with on-street parking restrictions in effect.
Crews are moving directly to snow removal operations, which take longer than regular snow clearing. Snow removal involves loading accumulated snow into haul trucks for removal to a snow disposal site.
Subzones and scheduled maintenance days can be confirmed by using the Find Your Zone Tool or by checking on-street signage. This helps support safe and efficient road clearing throughout the season.
Learn more about the WMZ program, find your zone and scheduled maintenance day at rmwb.ca/wmz.
Remove all belongings from the curb
Prevent winter maintenance delays and damage to personal items by removing them from the curb, especially curb mats, basketball and hockey nets.

Snow disposal site is open
The snow disposal site on Tower Road is open 24 hours a day. You must have a valid snow disposal permit to dispose of snow at the site. Apply for a snow disposal permit online.
Driveways and sidewalks
Residents are responsible for clearing snow from their sidewalks and driveways within 48 hours after a snowfall. Help keep neighbours and crews moving by shoveling snow onto your yard or the green space between driveways. Snow should never be shoveled onto the street.
