Winter Maintenance Subzones 3 and 4 active Feb. 2-6 for snow removal

Watch for temporary no parking signs. Additional snow removal happening over the weekend

Subzones 3 and 4 will be active from Feb. 2-6 for snow removal operations, with on-street parking restrictions in effect 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Snow removal has now been completed on all streets in subzones 1 and 2 at least once this winter. Crews will continue snow removal in subzones 1 and 2 during the next scheduled activation, expected Feb. 9-13. The streets in the most need of maintenance will be prioritized if access is available.

Help speed up winter maintenance progress by following parking restrictions. Vehicles left in active subzones or where temporary no parking signs are posted are subject to $120 Notice of Violation plus towing fees.

Additional maintenance over the weekend — Watch for temporary no parking signs

As conditions allow, crews will be removing snow from WMZ streets over the weekend. Watch for temporary no parking signs that will be placed 24 hours in advance of this work and remove vehicles from the street until the signs are taken down.

Snow removal continuing on WMZ streets in Timberlea

Crews will conduct snow removal operations in Timberlea over the weekend (Jan. 31-Feb. 1) in Subzones 3 and 4. Watch for temporary no-parking signs placed 24 hours in advance.

On Jan. 31 and Feb. 1, crews will also be removing snow from the busier streets in Timberlea that are not included in the WMZ program (primary, secondary and tertiary streets). Watch for temporary no-parking signs placed 24 hours in advance.

Crews are trying to complete as many roads as possible, and windrows may be left on streets overnight. It is important that vehicles do not park on streets where windrows were left overnight, as crews will be returning the following day to remove them.
