The WBRS Board of Directors has approved changes to the Golf Tournament Reimbursement Program effective June 17, 2026.

Following the launch of the 2026 program, available funding was fully allocated much sooner than anticipated. To ensure more members have access to funding throughout the golf season, the program will move to a monthly funding model.

Additional Funding for 2026

The Board has approved a one-time funding increase of $2,000 for 2026.

Funding Available

The following funding is available for the remainder of the 2026 golf season:

  • July: $1,000
  • August: $1,000

Once a month's funding has been fully allocated, the program will close until the first day of the following month.

Important Information

  • Reimbursements must be submitted for tournaments that take place within the month of available funding.
  • Funding for May and June 2026 has been fully allocated. No additional reimbursement requests for tournaments held in May or June 2026 will be accepted.
  • Reimbursement requests may only be submitted after the tournament has taken place.
  • July tournaments must be reimbursed using July funding.
  • August tournaments must be reimbursed using August funding.
  • Any unused monthly funding will be carried forward to the following month.

Looking Ahead

Beginning in 2027, the Golf Tournament Reimbursement Program will continue to operate under a monthly allocation model, with $1,000 allocated to each of June, July, and August.
