Subzones 1 and 2 are active from March 23 to March 27 for snow removal with on-street parking restrictions in effect. When your subzone is active, move vehicles off the street on your designated maintenance day from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Fort McMurray Fire Department (FMFD) is growing and has active postings for training officers, firefighter-paramedics and non-fire trained advanced care paramedics. Applications are also now being accepted for the Firefighter Cadet Program for registered paramedics

A fire significantly damaged a detached garage in Thickwood on March 16.

Select routes and schedules will be adjusted to expand service and better meet the needs of riders. The changes will take effect on March 20.
