Wood Buffalo Victim Services provides victims of crime and trauma with support, information and referrals based on a victim's needs. The support is intended to ease the crisis and help victims return to stability.

Volunteer
Our volunteer advocates provide quality support and information at the time of a crisis so our clients can make informed decisions. Part of the advocate's role is to ensure clients are treated fairly, according to their rights under the Alberta Victims of Crime Act.
Victim Services actively recruits volunteer advocates to meet victim's needs with compassion, understanding and hope. As an advocate, you will join a dedicated team that works in a rewarding environment.
What to expect as a volunteer
Commitment
We request that advocates sign up for a minimum of three shifts per month and attend meetings and training.
