Community Investment Program Approval Committee
In 2023, Council established the Community Investment Program Approval Committee (CIPAC) to review grant applications and allocate funding. The Council appointed committee includes nine public members, including representation from the social profit sector.
The establishment of CIPAC was part of a larger update to the Community Investment Program Policy FIN-220 to better support the local social profit sector by increasing efficiencies, eliminating duplication of services and helping ensure grant approvals are aligned with community needs and strategic priorities.
