All Winter Maintenance Subzones inactive Nov. 2 to 6
Extreme Weather Response Plan to conclude Saturday, Oct. 31. Maintenance to continue on priority routes, back alleys and cul-de-sacs.
Following activation of the Extreme Weather Response Plan, all subzones will be inactive Nov. 2 to 6, with no parking restrictions until further notice.
Crews will begin back-alley maintenance, focusing on alleys with garbage and recycling collection, as well as maintenance on priority routes. Please remove belongings from your back alley to prevent delays and damage to personal items.
Watch for temporary no-parking signs on Priority Routes
Watch for temporary no-parking signs on select Priority Routes as crews prepare to remove snow. After 24 hours, on-street parking restrictions will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Parked vehicles must be removed from the street until the signs are taken away.
Vehicles parked on a priority street with parking restrictions will be ticketed and may be towed to the nearest available lawful parking location.
The fine is $400, reduced to $240 if paid within seven days.
If your vehicle is towed, please contact Pulse for its location at 780-743-7000.
Extreme Weather Response continues today and Saturday, Oct. 31
On Saturday, the rolling parking ban will be in effect for Subzone 1–4 Friday WMZ streets. If your regular maintenance day is Friday, keep your vehicle off the street between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.
If your street is orange and marked as ‘plowed’ on the Winter Maintenance Progress Map, you can park your vehicle back on the street.
Snow removal on cul-de-sacs will continue next week, weather permitting.
Since Monday, over 400 streets have been plowed. Crews thank residents for their support and patience.
