All Winter Maintenance Subzones relaxed Dec. 22-Jan. 2
Snow removal will continue over the holidays on primary, secondary and tertiary streets, prioritizing school zones
All subzones are relaxed over the holidays from Dec. 22-Jan. 2. Subzones 3 and 4 are expected to be active Jan. 5-9 for snow removal operations.
Snow removal on the busier streets (primary, secondary and tertiary routes) not included in the WMZ program will continue over the holidays. Snow removal from school zones will be prioritized while there is less traffic over the holiday break
Watch out for temporary no-parking signs
Temporary no-parking signs will be placed 24 hours in advance at locations where snow removal is scheduled. After 24 hours, on-street parking restrictions will be in effect and parked vehicles must be removed from the street until the signs are taken away.
Snow shoveling reminders
The removal of snow from sidewalks and driveways is the responsibility of residents in the adjacent home and needs to be completed within 48 hours after a snowfall.
Help keep neighbours and crews moving this season and shovel snow onto yards and green spaces dividing driveways. Snow should never be shoveled onto the street or into the middle of a cul-de-sac.
