Beaton Place Infrastructure Rehabilitation – Phase 2

Introduction:

 Phase 2 of the Beaton Place Infrastructure Rehabilitation Project is scheduled to begin on September 14, 2026, and is expected to continue until approximately October 14, 2026.

This phase will focus on replacing the curb and gutter in front of properties with even-numbered addresses on Beaton Place.

What work will be completed?

During this phase, the contractor will:

·         Remove the existing curb and gutter.

·         Remove up to one meter of each driveway measured from the street to allow for the installation of the new curb and gutter.

·         Install new low-profile curb and gutter to improve vehicle access to residential driveways.

·         Restore the portion of each driveway affected by the work.

What to Expect?

Driveway Access

Access to individual driveways will be temporarily interrupted while the curb and gutter work is completed.

Once the new concrete has been poured:

• Residents will not be able to access or park in their driveway for three days while the concrete cures.
• Please do not walk, drive or place any objects on the new concrete during the curing period.

The contractor will restore the portion of the driveway removed or damaged during construction after the curb and gutter installation is complete. Construction activities will progress along Beaton Place, and the timing of driveway interruptions may vary from one property to another.

Residents should park on the street while the concrete cures. Municipal Enforcement (Bylaw Services) has been notified and parking tickets will not be issued for on-street parking related to this construction.

Please obey all posted signage when travelling through construction zones.
