Easter long weekend service updates

As we gear up for the Easter long weekend, here’s everything you need to know about holiday services.

Landfill and Municipal offices closed on Friday and Monday

Both the Regional Landfill and municipal offices will be closed on Friday, April 3, and Monday, April 6. Both will be back to regular hours on Tuesday, April 7.

Transit on stat holiday schedule Friday, regular schedule on Monday

Transit will follow the statutory holiday schedule on Friday, April 3. Routes 1, 2 and 6, along with Transit On Demand, will be running. On Monday, April 6, Transit will follow regular schedules. Find more information at rmwb.ca/transit

Watch for temporary no-parking signs as snow removal continues

Crews will be removing snow over the long weekend (April 3 - 5) from the busier streets (Primary, Secondary or Tertiary Routes) in Timberlea, Gregoire and Downtown. Temporary no-parking signs will be in use.

Temporary no-parking signs are also being used on WMZ streets for additional maintenance planned outside of the regular schedule. No parking signs are placed 24 hours in advance of planned maintenance. After the signs have been removed, you may park on the street again. 

Curbside collection – Friday pickup moving to Saturday this weekend

If your regular collection day is Friday, your pickup will move to Saturday this week due to the holiday. Sign up for reminders at rmwb.ca/curbsidecollection
