Help shape support for businesses during municipal construction
Seeking input from businesses across the region
Business owners and operators across the region are invited to share their experiences with municipal construction projects and identify ways to reduce future impacts on local businesses.
Construction projects can affect customer access, visibility, parking, traffic flow and day-to-day operations. Through this engagement, the Municipality is seeking input from businesses to better understand these impacts and identify opportunities to reduce disruption on nearby businesses during future projects.
The engagement builds on previous feedback from industry professionals and research into municipal best practices from across Canada. This phase focuses on understanding business needs and identifying opportunities to better support businesses impacted by municipal construction projects.
How to participate
Business owners and operators can:
- Completing a one-minute quick poll to identify their top concerns and priorities; or
- Completing a five-minute survey to provide more detailed feedback and recommendations.
Feedback collected through this engagement will help inform Administration's recommendations to Council and identify opportunities to strengthen future policies, practices and supports for businesses affected by municipal construction.
The engagement is open until July 31, 2026.
