Notice of Public Hearing – Bylaw No. 24/008 – Land Use Bylaw No. 99/059 Amendment - June 25, 2024

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

TAKE NOTICE that Council of the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. in the Jubilee Centre Council Chamber located on the 1st Floor at 9909 Franklin Avenue, Fort McMurray, Alberta, regarding the following matter:

Bylaw No. 24/008 – Land Use Bylaw No. 99/059 Amendment for Lot 1, Block 1, Plan 232 1444, in Draper

Bylaw No. 24/008 proposes to redistrict Lot 1, Block 1, Plan 232 1444 (Subject Property) in Draper from SH-Small Holdings District and CR-Country Residential District to SH-Small Holdings District as the Subject Property is currently regulated by two different Land Use Bylaw (LUB) districts.  In addition to this amendment, the property owner has applied for a Development Permit for a ‘Resort Facility’ on the Subject Property, which is a Discretionary Use in the ‘SH-Small Holdings District’ of the LUB.  If Bylaw No. 24/008 is approved, the Development Authority would be authorized to grant a Development Permit for a ‘Resort Facility’ on the Subject Property.
