RMWB 2026 Mill and Pave-South of the bridge
Introduction
The Municipality will be completing asphalt surface upgrades in your neighbourhood as part of its ongoing roadway maintenance program. Over time, pavement naturally deteriorates due to aging, traffic loading, environmental exposure and repeated freeze-thaw cycles. These works will restore pavement conditions, preserve the value of municipal infrastructure and extend the service life of the roadway network.
Construction activities will begin on September 1, 2026. Residents may experience temporary traffic disruptions and are encouraged to follow all posted signage and directions from construction personnel. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as these improvements are completed.

· Beacon Hill Drive – Beaveridge Close to Beacon Hill Drive
· Abasand Drive – Hospital Street to Athabasca Avenue
· Abasand Drive – Athabasca Avenue to Hospital Street
· Athabasca Avenue – Albion Drive to Alexander Crescent
· Hardin Street – Highway 63 Intersection to Franklin Avenue
· Morrison Street – MacDonald Avenue to Franklin Avenue
· Morrison Street – Franklin Avenue to Manning Avenue
· Saprae Creek Trial – Highway 63 to Mackenzie Blvd.

Community Benefit:
The project will involve removing the top layer of worn asphalt and replacing it with new pavement to restore road quality and extend the life of the roadways. Many neighbourhoods will see some level of road repairs associated with this project.

Special Instructions for Residents:
· Parking will be restricted on the roadway while construction is taking place. 24hr notice will be provided before the restrictions take effect.
· Signage will be staged for each phase of construction.
· Emergency access will be maintained at all times.
· For your safety, and the safety construction crews, please keep away from heavy equipment and obey all signage.
· Transit bus stops will periodically affected while construction activities are ongoing.
