Saprae Creek Culvert, Ditches and Drainage Improvements
Introduction:
The Municipality is proceeding with drainage improvements in Saprae Creek Estates. Initial work will focus on three priority municipal drainage areas between Evergreen Place and Weiss Drive, identified through previous design work, community feedback, and RMWB field inspections (see map below).
Residents may experience temporary access restrictions or localized construction activities in the areas of work. Please obey all signage and follow contractor instructions.

Project Details:
The initial phase of the Saprae Creek Drainage project includes three priority drainage easements:
· Easement A: Regrading to provide positive drainage flow toward the west ditch line at Spruce Valley Gate, and east to Easement C, followed by topsoil and sod installation to support proper water conveyance.
· Easement C: Regrading to direct water toward the ditch line at Weiss Drive, including the installation of riprap, rock ditch checks, topsoil, and sod to improve drainage and erosion control.
· Easement D: Regrading at the bottom of the easement near Weiss Drive to improve water conveyance into the ditch, followed by topsoil and sod installation.
Community Benefit
The project will address priority drainage concerns, improve drainage functionality, and support the long-term management of drainage infrastructure within Saprae Creek Estates.
