Spring cleanup is underway along Highway 63

Use extra caution when travelling on Highway 63 from Gregoire to Parsons Creek Interchange April 22-24

Municipal Public Works crews will be conducting a large-scale cleanup along Highway 63, helping to clean and beautify the main entrance into Fort McMurray for visitors.

Although this stretch of highway is typically maintained by the Province, the Municipality is stepping in to support cleanup efforts, taking pride in the community, and working to create a clean and welcoming corridor into Fort McMurray. Municipal crews will be working during daylight hours from April 22-24 to remove garbage and debris from ditches, medians, and surrounding green spaces between Saprae Creek Trail and the Parsons Creek Interchange.

Drive with caution

Work will be taking place in high-traffic areas. Drivers are asked to slow down, obey posted signage and give crews space to work safely. Thank you for your patience and cooperation while this important maintenance work is completed.
