Waterfront Park Revitalization: Snye Point Park – 2026
Introduction:
Snye Point Park, located on the east side of Hardin Street, is part of the Waterfront Park Revitalization Project, which aims to enhance park infrastructure and amenities while supporting flood resilience and downtown revitalization.
Construction activities carried out during the 2025 construction season focused primarily on underground and enabling works, including subsurface utilities, drainage systems, and site preparation. As much of this work occurred below ground, changes were not highly visible at the surface.
The 2026 construction season will see a transition to surface‑level work, and residents and visitors can expect to observe increased on‑site activity as visible park features and finishes are constructed.
