Getting on and off the bus

  • Form an orderly line when boarding a bus.
  • While waiting to board, let passengers exit first.
  • Make sure you pay your fare!
  • Leave space for everyone; move to the rear of the bus when boarding.
  • Be courteous and allow your driver to concentrate on operating the bus. Please refrain from moving around in the bus while in motion and avoid talking to the driver when in motion.
  • Hold on to the handrails when standing inside a transit vehicle.
  • Stand clear of doorways while on the bus – don’t block the flow!
  • Exit from the rear door and allow those with mobility needs to exit first.
