Alberta Health Services (AHS) and the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo (RMWB) have officially opened a provincial EMS dispatch call centre, bringing it online today. This announcement reflects months of collaborative efforts and a growing partnership between the municipality and AHS.

The Fire Ban includes the urban service area of Fort McMurray and is being implemented by the Municipality to mirror the fire ban and OHV restriction enacted within the Forest Protection Area by Alberta Wildfire. All fire permits are suspended or cancelled and no new fire permits will be issued.
