Fort McKay Range Road 1109 and South Waterline & Sidewalk Improvement
Introduction:
Consun Contracting will be completing temporary works on Fort McKay Road and Range Road 1109.
Background:
Residents are advised that Consun will begin removing the temporary water distribution system currently serving properties on temporary water service. To complete this work, the Contractor will require access to affected residences and properties. Residents may be contacted directly if access is required.
In conjunction with the waterline removal, the Contractor will also be completing the following restoration work:
- Filling of hydro-vac excavation holes.
- Placing temporary aggregate surface along incomplete sidewalk areas between Range Road 1109 and the playground located on Fort McKay Road.
- Replacing the chain link fence previously removed at the playground.
This work is expected to take approximately 2 to 3 weeks to complete, subject to weather conditions and site conditions.

Road or lane closure
Fort McKay Road may require single lane traffic during construction hours. There will be only occasional construction delays on Range Road 1109.
Temporary water/sewer
A plumber may require access to homes to disconnect the temporary water service from your house.
