(Fort McMurray, AB – June 23, 2026) – Celebrate Canada Day with neighbours, friends and family at the parade and free community events with activities for all ages. Show your Canadian spirit by wearing red, white and orange!
We acknowledge with gratitude that the land on which we live, work and play is Treaty 8 territory, the traditional and ancestral land of the Cree, Dene and the unceded territory of the Métis. Let's celebrate Canada Day in a way that unites us as a community, while reflecting on the shared history of the country.

Parade route and safety
The Canada Day Parade starts at 10:30 a.m. at the corner of Main St. and Franklin Ave. After heading south on Franklin Ave., the parade will end at the corner of Riedel St. and Clearwater Dr.
When viewing the parade, remember to stay on the sidewalk and behind any barricades.
Please follow instructions from officials and volunteers and refrain from crossing the road once it’s been closed. After the parade, please be patient and wait for the road to reopen.
Looking for a quieter parade experience?
