Nominate local champions for Council’s Excellence Awards
Nominations now open at rmwb.ca/excellence
Every day, people in this region do good things to make life better for those around them. This is your chance to help shine a spotlight on their contributions.
Nominations are now open for the 2027 Council’s Excellence Awards, which celebrate community champions, business and innovation leaders, inspiring youth, dedicated Indigenous advocates and those who make meaningful contributions to the region.
"If you call this region home, you know that our greatest resource has always been our people," said Mayor Sandy Bowman. "There are so many community members that deserve recognition, and every year Council is always faced with difficult choices. We expect this year to be no exception given the great contributions being made by so many of you."
Recipients will be chosen by Mayor and Council and will be honoured at a special awards ceremony in the New Year.
