RMWB pitching in for spring cleanup along Highway 63

Use extra caution when driving Highway 63 through Fort McMurray while crews are at work June 1-5

Public Works crews and other municipal staff will be working along Highway 63 this week between the Saprae Creek Trail (Airport Road) and the Parsons Creek Interchange as part of community cleanup efforts. Work will take place during daylight hours and will focus on removing litter and debris from ditches and surrounding green spaces.

Although highway maintenance typically falls under provincial responsibility, the Municipality is taking steps to enhance this important corridor through Fort McMurray and to help create a cleaner, more welcoming entry to the community.

Drive with caution

Cleanup activities will take place in high-traffic areas along Highway 63. Drivers, please slow down, follow posted signage and leave space for crews to work safely.

Thank you for helping keep everyone safe and for your patience while this work is underway.
