Spray parks opening in time for May long weekend

Splish, splash and a whole lot of laughs will be happening this May long weekend when the weather clears and spray parks begin to open! Parks crews are working hard to get spray parks ready to be enjoyed all summer long, with most spray parks expected to open today (May 15). Visit a spray park near you! Once open, spray parks are available daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Cool off and have some fun this summer at these neighbourhood spray parks:
- Borealis Spray Park
- J. Howard Pew Spray Park
- Frank LaCroix Spray Park
- Parsons Creek North Spray Park
- KP Wong Spray Park (Syncrude Athletic Park)
- kiyām Spray Park
- Grayling Terrace Spray Park
Certain spray parks closed for upgrades
Crews are completing repairs and ensuring the safety of all equipment at the following spray parks:
- Wood Buffalo Spray Park (Expected to open later this month)
- Lakewood Spray Park (Closed for the 2026 season while the splash pad is replaced)
