Spread your wings as a Snow Angel this winter
Every volunteer with a snow shovel makes a difference for our neighbours in need
Spread your wings as a snow angel this winter by volunteering to shovel snow for our Fort McMurray neighbours in need.
A cleared walkway or driveway can make a big difference. Snow Angel volunteers help our neighbours stay connected, independent, and able to leave their house for essential needs.
Every volunteer matters – sign up as an individual or as part of a team (with friends, coworkers or fellow athletes) at rmwb.ca/snowangels.
About the Snow Angels program
The Snow Angels program matches volunteers with an eligible household to help clear snow from that household’s driveways and walkways throughout the winter months. Where possible, volunteers are assigned to the areas and neighbourhoods they request, if there is an eligible household there.
Program details:
- Eligible seniors and residents with mobility challenges can request Snow Angels
- Volunteer as an individual or as part of a team
- Shovel as soon as possible after a snowfall, within 48 hours
