WinterPLAY
WinterPLAY is back on February 20-24, 2026, with crowd favourites, including Shootout on the Snye!
Registration for Shootout on the Snye is now open!
Deadline is February 2!
If you know you'll be participating in the Shootout, register early and save! Early bird registration saves $10!
Early bird registration is available until January 21:
- Fee is $40 + GST and fees/person
Regular registration is from January 22 - February 2:
- Fee is $50 + GST and fees/person
Shootout Details:
- 4 on 4 Pond Hockey Tournament
- Guaranteed 3 games over the two days
- Round Robin on Feb. 20 and 21, with playoffs on Feb. 22
- Teams made up of 6 players
- Age groups are U7, U9, U11, U13, U16, U18 and Open Adult (Competitive and Non-competitive)

Each participant is required to sign the appropriate waiver. Signing the waiver is necessary to participate.
Referees needed!
Want to help make Shootout on the Snye a success? Sign up as a referee!
Referees will be compensated $25 per 35-minute game.
Fundraising opportunities for groups and organizations are available throughout WinterPLAY. More information on these fundraising opportunities will be shared mid-January.

There’s lots of free winter activities to enjoy at the Snye from Feb. 20-24, including: ice sculptures, maple syrup on a stick from the Sugar Shack, horse drawn wagon rides, cultural programming, fireworks and more!
