Street Banner Program

This year's theme: Everyday Heroism, Local Legends

Residents 12 years and older are invited to showcase what Everyday Heroism, Local Legends means to you through the Street Banner Program.

We're looking for artwork that embodies the spirit of those who make a difference in our everyday lives, through acts of kindness, community service or inspiring achievements.

If your design is selected, you'll receive a $600 design fee, a screened banner and the opportunity for their work to be on display in Fort McMurray and throughout the region!

All submissions will be showcased at the Kirschner Family Community Art Gallery at MacDonald Island Park from June 22 to July 31, 2026

Submit your artwork by May 21, 2026, at 4 p.m.

If you live in Anzac, Janvier, Conklin, Fort McKay or Fort Chipewyan, you can have your designs displayed in your community!

See the program guidelines for more information.
